After more than a decade teaching modern etiquette around the world, Myka Meier kept hearing one question:
Even with all her expertise, that same question followed her home into the mess and magic of motherhood. The answer wasn’t stricter rules or “proper” behavior. It was this:
Kindness starts with understanding.
Understanding emotions. Understanding others. Understanding how our actions affect the world around us.
That’s the heart of Mini Manners, a modern educational YouTube show for children ages 2.5–6 that transforms manners into everyday acts of care.
Each episode uses puppetry, storytelling, music, and joyful repetition to help kids practice social-emotional skills they’ll use for life. From sharing space to treating yourself and others with care, these aren’t just nice-to-haves. They’re tools for navigating the world with confidence, compassion, and connection.
When kids learn the why behind kindness, gratitude, and respect, they’re more likely to apply those values in real life, at the playground, the dinner table, the classroom, and beyond.
Backed by Research. Built for Growth.
Social-Emotional Learning is the foundation of everything we do. It’s how kids learn to:

Kids in strong SEL programs show an 11% boost in academic performance
Kids are 42% less likely to develop conduct issues
Kids are 27% more likely to earn better grades (CASEL)
Manners have been misunderstood—dismissed as old-fashioned, rigid, or just about rules. But at Mini Manners, we believe manners are something much simpler and much more powerful:
Manners are how we show care.
Care for ourselves
Care for others
Care for the world we share
Raising kind kids doesn’t happen by accident—it starts with intention.
And we’re here to help you every step of the way.

After teaching modern etiquette around the world for more than a decade, one question kept coming up for Myka Meier:
It’s a question she’s heard from thousands of students, from CEOs to new parents, and one she’s asked herself, too. As a mom, even with all her expertise, Myka knows firsthand that teaching manners to young children isn’t easy. It takes patience, creativity, and a whole lot of repetition.
Mini Manners was born out of that real-life experience: a way to make social-emotional learning approachable, engaging, and, dare we say…fun. Now, she’s lending a helping hand to parents, caregivers, and educators everywhere with a tool that makes teaching manners feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more joyful.
